Smoked Salmon Citrus Carpaccio

This is an easy appetizer or accompaniment to toast that doesn't take much time at all to prepare. However you choose to enjoy this dish - breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or hors d'oeuvre - it’s really about your own personal taste and preference. All you have to do is have a love for smoked salmon!

Directions

Assemble your smoked salmon pieces on a serving plate, along with your citrus suprêmes and a few rings of your sliced red onions.

Drizzle your olive oil and fish sauce over your assembly. The remaining citrus flesh can be evenly and freshly juiced over your crudo. Sprinkle your sea salt flakes, black pepper, and cilantro leaves. Serve with your favorite toasts, crackers, or chips or by itself.

  • 2 lemons, suprêmed, reserve the remaining flesh
  • 1 lime, suprêmed, reserve the remaining flesh
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 tsp fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes
