This recipe comes courtesy of Corky & Lenny's in Woodmere, Ohio. Corky & Lenny's is a classic Cleveland-area restaurant that has been serving loyal patrons smoked fish since 1956. When you take a bite of this smoked sable sandwich, you'll see why. Dark rye bread and smoked sable are a timeless combination, but with the addition of juicy tomatoes, tangy Greek olives, and crisp sliced onion, you've got a modern classic. A Midwestern smoked fish favorite, by way of New York, from our table to yours.


2 slices dark rye bread
3 slices smoked sable (or any other of your favorite smoked fish)
4 slices tomato
1 bunch Greek olives
2 onion slices


First toast two slices of dark rye bread. Then top the sandwich with tomatoes, greek olives, and onions. Then add smoked sable (or any other smoked fish of your choosing) and enjoy!
