If you love avocado toast (who doesn't?), this Acme Smoked Fish recipe is for you. Our Acme Smoked Fish avocado toast, of course, features our everything bagel seasoned smoked salmon. Extra virgin olive oil, everything bagel seasoning, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes seal the deal and bring this classic to new heights. Avocados, once called "midshipman's butter", were spread on bread or hard biscuits by European sailors in the 1700s. Did these sailors top their avocado toast with smoked salmon? Who's to say they didn't?


3 slices Acme Smoked Fish Everything Bagel Smoked Salmon
1 slice whole grain bread (1" thick)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon everything bagel seasonings
Juice from half a lemon
1 avocado
1 pinch salt and pepper
1 pinch red pepper flakes


Drizzle both sides of your whole grain bread slices with extra virgin olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Grill bread on both sides.
Add one ripe avocado pitted and peeled to a mixing bowl. Squeeze half of a lemon into the bowl. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and red pepper flakes. Mash together.
Schmear avocado mix onto grilled bread. Top with smoked salmon. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top. Enjoy!
