This recipe is courtesy of Spread Bagelry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It typically takes at least three people to tackle this massive bagel sandwich at once! Are you up for the challenge? Even if not, might we suggest you try a slightly smaller version? If you divide each ingredient quantity by 6, you'll still have yourself one big and satisfying smoked fish bagel sandwich. A Montreal- (or New York) style bagel, nova smoked salmon, whitefish salad, capers, cream cheese, and sliced tomato and onion... it's a brunch classic that will keep you full until dinnertime.



1 HUGE Montreal style everything bagel (1 New York style bagel is fine as well)
1 large tomato (sliced)
1 large red onion (sliced)
1 small jar of capers
2 pounds cream cheese


First spread 2 lbs. cream cheese on a 4 lb. everything bagel. Then top the bagel with smoked whitefish salad and smoked nova salmon. Then add a couple of pounds of tomatoes, onions, and capers to taste.
